Getting to the Gate
By car
There is no on-site parking at the Gate art space. Our nearest car park is the Westgate Street Car Park (GL1 2TU). Walk from the car park for about five minutes up Westgate Street and you will see the Gate (n0. 21) on your right (directly opposite the Gloucester Antiques Centre).
By train
The Gate art space at 21 Westgate Street is an 11 minute walk from Gloucester Railway Station.
Exit the railway station and cross Bruton Way at the crossing. Walk through The Forum to Kings Square then along the north-east side of Kings Square (Coro Lounge and The Regal will be on your right) and carry on straight up St Aldate Street. At the end of St Aldgate Street turn left up Northgate Street to The Cross. Turn right to walk down Westgate Street and the Gate art space is on the left at No. 21 (directly opposite the Gloucester Antiques Centre).
By bus
The Gate art space is an eight minute walk from Gloucester Transport Hub (bus station).
Exit the Gloucester Tranport Hub (though the south-west doors), turn right and and walk along Station road and then carry on straight along the north-east side of Kings Square (Coro Lounge and The Regal will be on your right) and carry on straight up St Aldate Steet. At the end of St Aldate Street turn left up Northgate Street to The Cross. Turn right to walk down Westgate Street and the Gate art space is on the left at No. 21 (directly opposite the Gloucester Antiques Centre).
Walking from the Cathedral
The Gate art space is a three minute walk from Gloucester Cathedral.
From the cathedral south porch walk up College Street and turn left onto Westgate Street. Walk up Westgate Street and you will find the Gate (no. 21) on your right (directly opposite the Gloucester Antiques Centre).
Walking from the The Bon art gallery
The Gate art space is a four minute walk from the Bon Art Gallery at the City Campus.
Turn right out of the gallery and walk up The Oxbode, then turn left up Northgate Street to The Cross. Turn right to walk down Westgate Street and the Gate art space is on the left at No. 21 (directly opposite the Gloucester Antiques Centre).
