Four local contemporary artists including GCA's Jonathan Oakes, each with a tale to tell will be exhibiting their beautiful original artworks at the Setting and the Plot galleries.

A stunning exhibition that brings together two Gloucester Contemporary Artists, Gilly Hill and David Finch. Their work explores landscape and culture through expressive visual compositions and colour. Paintings reflect Gilly’s life living in Zambia and David’s worldwide travels through Europe and India contrasting with landscapes from Newent, Gloucester and Pembrokeshire.

ADOPT AN ARTIST: featured artists in city centre banks, building societies, shops and cafés.

The exhibition will include works by GCA members Kate Mason, Bev Perry and Michael Butler.

HUMANITY is the sixth Outside In National Open Exhibition and the first to tour venues across the UK. Showcasing artworks by 80 Outside In artists, including GCA artist Jonathan Oakes, the exhibition highlights the vast variety and quality of works produced by artists who encounter barriers to the art world.
HUMANITY was previously on view at Sotheby’s in London in January, Project Ability in Glasgow from 12 August to 16 September. and next Hove Museum of Creativity from 25 November to 21 January.
