Russell Richards

Dr. Russell Richards is a freelance digital artist/educator. He creates installations, performances, films and apps. He is a member of KikiT VisuoSonic Research Group along with Maurice Owen. They have created performances and installations in Europe, Canada and Australia including the London Design Festival at the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Art and The Open Space Gallery, Victoria, British Columbia.

Russell also works with Arduino microcontrollers to create interactive installations. An example is at The Folk of Gloucester. As visitors view the Cotton Motorbike display their presence triggers the sound of a Cotton motorbike.
