Jasmina Tyler

Landscape painter
I was first inspired to paint in the early 1990's at the start of my structural engineering degree. In the past few years I have had more time to devote to painting and learning with other artists.
My work explores the beauty of the landscape and creates connection with the environment we live in. My aim is to make people light up when they look at my artwork with vibrant colours and share my life journey with observer. My paintings convey intensity of light and colour which evoke positive energy in viewer as well as stimulate imagination and curiosity.
My landscape paintings commonly feature birch trees and rivers. In those paintings I hope to project a sense of calmness and tranquility. My choice of scene is often inspired by childhood memories of growing up in rural Croatia, but also by recent walks and travels.
